Idaho Adaptive Sports is dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with physical disabilities through adaptive sports and recreation, empowering them to live independently and fully.
Adaptive sports provide exciting opportunities for people with disabilities to engage in tailored activities that promote physical well-being, social connection, and personal growth. Think of us as your starting point on this journey — a resource to help you explore new passions and discover what brings you joy.
In fact, 99% of adaptive sports participants say the experience has positively impacted their lives — proof that the right opportunity can be truly life-changing.
We are dedicated to supporting disabled individuals through sports and recreational activities that focus on teaching independent living skills and character building. We believe that these activities provide a unique and invaluable platform for individuals with disabilities to overcome obstacles and lead fulfilling lives. By participating in sports and recreational programs, participants not only develop physical strength but also acquire essential life skills such as teamwork, resilience, and self-confidence.
The camaraderie and shared experiences within the programs create a strong sense of community, offering a support system that goes beyond the playing field. Through commitment to disabled individuals, we aim to champion their potential and demonstrate that they can lead lives rich in purpose and achievement, embracing every opportunity to build character and independence along the way.
Our main core value is to provide an avenue to help people be aware of all the adaptive sports available. It’s not just the basketball it’s the tennis, hockey, skiing, rugby and a myriad of other opportunities that are available. We just need to inspire others to see this.
You can be involved. Sponsors can help fund an opportunity for an individual or a group to do something outside their box but also allows you as the sponsor to participate in the adventures.

We have established ourselves as “Idaho’s Wheelchair Basketball Team “. We have an adult and a junior team and looking to add a women’s team and hopefully a collegiate team.
